Cause now I'm knee deep in the water somewhere
Got the blue sky breeze blowing wind through my hair
Only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair
Sunrise there's a fire in the sky

Never been so happy
Never felt so high
And I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise

Praise the sea maid, daughter of Aphrodite, bride of Helios, this isle of Rhodes )

[Away from Poseidon]
I'm not going to panic. I'm not. Even though Magan is wanting her daddy every other hour, and I can't make her feel better, because I don't even know where he is.

We're both staying with Mom until I can figure out what's going on, because I can't leave my daughter behind to go search, but neither can I really take her with me. A two year old is not conducive to moving quickly, however much you love them. And I don't even know where to start, anyway. 'Southern coast' isn't terribly specific.

I'm not handling this very well. As I'm sure you've all gathered.

So as it turns out, having a toddler is an exercise in not pinching the bridge of your nose and sighing. Magan's favorite word is 'no!', and she loves to throw tantrums, as well as objects. This is less than fun, as you might imagine. She hates being told not to throw things, or that she can't kick walls just because she feels like it.

But she's getting bigger every day, and it makes me smile to see it. My beautiful little girl.

I got a look at our heating bill for this month. It's the sort of number you hope never shows up in a bill. Although perhaps it's preparing me for winter, which is always worse, especially since I'm living with, you know...a sun Titan. I mean, I hate to be cold myself, but Helios (understandably) takes it to a whole different level.

And hey, don't get me wrong. Sleeping in shorts in December and not freezing is great. It just means I don't leave the house very much.

[Clio, Thalia, Kat]
You know what we need? A Mommy & Me-type group (moms-to-be included). I mean, I love spending time with my husband and sisters, but they don't really get it sometimes. And it'd be a great reason to get out of the house.

[Away from Poseidon]
Hallelujah, Magan is sleeping longer during the night. I'm still getting up to feed her every so often, but that's fine. And she smiles at me now, she's learning who Mommy is. It's wonderful.

However, I'm going slightly stir-crazy. Which is a bad thing. Clio, would you and Ella be up for a visit from us?
